“What is actually in our minds, and is that mind-stuff alive or dead? If it’s dead, then it needs unclustering …
Yin is Flow [or Goddess] Zen is meditation or mindfulness of divine presence, and Soma is our mantra, the original mantra of primordial cosmic force, or primordial goddess. We practice with a radical devotion, and we’re opening and accelerating our Spiritual Vision … to see our way forward into a future for humanity filled with light.“—Susan
“Unclustering the Living Mind … and Flowing”
Your buddha-mind is a living mind – and not just something kind-of attached to the back of your brain. It envelops you, as a subtle body of energy, and works with you and your brain-body, your buddha-body, through the mindbody dynamism of the brain and the nerve centres. It is a living, organic whole within the living organic whole of existence.
To un-cluster the living mind we “un-pack” the nests of thoughts, ideas, opinions and rules – to which many of your emotions will be tied or anchored. You will note that none of this has anything to do with your ego or will-to-power.
And this is because we are dealing with the Living Mind, the ground of your awareness which is fertile and vivacious and always connected with your Unborn Mind and your Eternal Being Nature.
The mind-clusters, the nests are dead – they are old and outworn, second- or third-hand even before they cluster and attach themselves to you. You cannot shout at them to get rid of them, as you can with the ego, as they have no drive of their own. You have to just carefully, and patiently, “un-pack” them . . .
. . . clearing space for new structures to open up in the Living Mind: this is what we are patiently doing in our practice, step by careful small step.
“Yin is Flow. Zen is Living Mindfully of Essence. Yin.Zen is my teaching for living with Flow, with reverence for Essence and practising daily with radical Devotion to awaken awareness of Divine Feminine. Small steps to Balance leading to a more heart-centred future for Humanity.”—Susan
Flowing Like Water
“Though the bamboo forest is dense, water flows through it freely.” I offer you this Zen saying for you to adopt it as your metaphor of power. No matter how thick and complicated and impassable the terrain might appear to be in our coming future, our practice will ensure you’ll have a flair for finding a graceful path through it. All you have to do is imitate the consistency and flow of water.
So, then, understandably, we grow to realise that worrying about wasting time when we’re “unclustering” or flowing is one of the biggest wastes of time! No process runs at 100 per cent efficiency. Nor can everything be done entirely by the book; there is no book! Even if we think we’ve managed to get hold of a relevant chapter, it will be patchy and incomplete. Who wrote that book – what was in their mind?
Which means that there’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way, no ‘perfection’, no ‘ideal’ that we should be trying to attain. The art, is to be able to appreciate the imperfections. This is important to our attitude to our Art of Living: Simply being your best will easily be good enough.
My Message …
My message from the Flow of Existence [Mother]. If you are drawn to a path such as zen, yoga, as in the whole of Yoga, daoism or Mindfulness, then you’re going back to ancient teachings to go beyond in your life, and you are one of the “Tribe” in my opinion.
My teaching is a radical devotion to practice, and this unites us with a common bond, common purpose in fanning the flame of progress for our world.
Accelerating Our Spiritual Vision
As you’ll know from the weekly meditation classes, I’m teaching you to accelerate your spiritual vision for those of you who want to walk the Divine path through practice. Our practice is YinZen Soma, and I call our path The Kindest Revolution: changing our world one kind thought at a time.
“Though the bamboo forest is dense, water flows through it freely.” Zen saying
We’re Humanity Empaths
The YinZen Soma tribe are Humanity Empaths: zen has always been about serving humanity – this time round we’re awakening here as Empaths as our purpose-ful-ness is to hold the mirror up for others’ spiritual growth. We don’t do anything FOR other people as such: zen is an attitude to an art of living, an art of living with values – tranquility, harmony, reverence and purity – just by being, with sincere dedication and devotion to our practice, we heal others.
It may seem harsh to stand back and allow humanity to go through what they are experiencing right now – but, this is our karma, and it’s the hard thing we have to do and do it willingly and creatively.
